NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Family Service Association invites sealed Bids for the construction of the following project:
Magnolia Child Development Center Renovation Project
8172 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA. 92504
PROJECT: The Magnolia Child Development Center is a multi-classroom building in the City of Riverside, CA. The project is to convert 1,312sqft of office space to new classroom area. This is a Public Works Project subject to Prevailing Wage.
Description: Interior tenant improvement, repair/replace electrical and plumbing as needed to meet current codes, remodel existing offices into child daycare rooms, add restrooms for each child daycare room, patch, repair, and clean existing flooring, ceiling, drywall.
Bids shall be prepared in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Bidding Documents. Bids must be received, by hand delivery or mail to Family Service Association 21250 Box Springs Road, Suite 212 Administration, Moreno Valley, CA. 92557 no later than the Bid Closing Deadline of 12:00pm on February 18, 2022, to be thereafter on said date and at said location publicly opened and read aloud. The Bidder assumes sole responsibility for timely receipt of its Bid.
On and after January 18 2022, and up to 72 hours prior to the Bid Closing Deadline, copies of Bidding Documents will be available to Bidders for pick-up by Bidder at Charles Brown Architects 5140 Victoria Avenue, Riverside, CA. 92506 (951) 683-6222. At the time of such pick-up a non-refundable fee of two-hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for each set of Bidding Documents shall be paid by Bidder by cash or by check or money order made payable to Charles Brown Architects. The Bidding Documents may also be viewed in person (by appointment only) between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except Holidays) at Family Service Association, 21250 Box Springs Road, Moreno Valley, CA. 92557 (951) 888-8695.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted on February 10, 2022, commencing promptly at 10:00am, at Family Service Association Child Development Center, 8172 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA. 92504. Attendance at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required as a condition of bidding. THIS IS A PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT AND SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS. The awarded prime contractor shall post job site notices as prescribed by regulation starting January 1, 2015. Contractor or subcontractor shall furnish records specified in Labor Code section 1776 to the Labor Commissioner.
