National Association for the Education of Young Children Awards Rubidoux Child Development Center for Having met the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards

We warmly welcome you to join us in a celebration of achievement in attaining this nationally recognized award for improving the standard of care and education at our Rubidoux Child Development Center. Our staff, community associates, and families together have worked diligently to meet the stringent criteria required by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and we would love to invite you to celebrate our collective success. 

The NAEYC Accreditation process is an extensive self-study that measures the program and its services against the ten NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and more than 400 related criteria that have been vetted and updated by nationally recognized professional early childhood educators and advocates over the past 35 years. The NAEYC program has become widely recognized in the United States by early childhood educational organizations and professionals as a sign of high-quality care and education, meeting the highest standards available in our field that not only reflects the latest research, but also the best practices in child development and education.

Our success would have been unfeasible without the extensive support we have received from parents and families in our program attending our meetings and filling out our surveys. Our community partners like the Rubidoux Library and La Sierra University, the Rubidoux Community Resource Center;  that came to our classroom to read to the children and share valuable resources with our staff, and our administrative and consulting staff at our corporate office who ensured we had the necessary materials and trainings to achieve success. Moreover, the time and work put in by our dedicated teaching staff and associates over countless months have been incalculable. Our teaching staff and associates have gone above and beyond expectations to create a high-quality learning environment at our center. This is why we would like to come together as a community to celebrate this momentous time with you as we continue to raise and improve the quality of care and education to the highest degree for the children of our community on Thursday June 2nd 2016 from 10:00am to 12:00 p.m.
