CARDS FOR SENIORS

We will be accepting Valentine’s Day Cards for FSA Seniors starting December 28th, 2020! We would love to see your creativity and care for this project. And, Thank you for keeping our seniors #FSAStrong!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Fontana Stake, Alder Ward) donated more than 325 cards for seniors in Fontana and Rialto.

Adults and children enthusiastically participated in this service activity to create cards for all the seniors in the Fontana/Rialto area who receive meals from Family Service Association.

Seniors, ages 60 – 90+, who are homebound due to illness were pleased to receive a special card with their Thanksgiving meal. In addition, the seniors who previously attended the meal programs at the Senior Centers, received a card with their weekly drive-through meal pick-up.

These seniors have been shut-in by COVID-19. The generous activity of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints enables the seniors to feel less alone and more connected to their community. With the help of Bishop Keith Klinger, Elder Bob Proctor, Sister Sandy Proctor and members of the Alder Ward, these cheerful cards were created for local seniors. We sincerely appreciate the love, caring, and talent that was shared to help cheer up seniors and make their lives a little healthier.
