Moreno Valley, CA (Oct 28, 2014) - The lack of access to quality, affordable food is an issue for 22% of Inland Empire families. This is primarily the case for homebound seniors, individuals without adequate transportation to a supermarket and residents with low to moderate incomes. One way that Family Service Association addresses this challenge in Chino Hills is through its Senior Nutrition congregate meals program, where daily hot meals are provided at the Chino Senior Center. FSA is hoping to increase its meal totals from the current 61 to 114 through support of a Community Development Block Grant from the City of Chino Hills.
